A new movie coming out in 2013 called The Manson Girls, has a guy called Dayton Knoll playing Dennis. It doesn't look to be a huge part though. I don't think the guy looks much like Dennis, but hey, who does? Not sure I'll be watching this movie, those girls creep me right out.

Yep. Definitely not watching it. Talk about glorifying a bunch of perverted murderers. I'm sorry I even heard about it now.

Jesus wept… looks like a crock of sh*t… and looks like it might demean lesbianism though I'll leave that for those more expert in such fields than I to judge.

Very surprised that someone would make a film about such an infamous event. If it gets any media attention it could be used against LGBT equality. Imo there is no point depicting insanity from a real occurence with the outcome being that people were murdered in a brutal fashion. Dennis would never have wanted a film to be made of it. This film is an insult to everything decent and the people who were victims of the Manson cult. That includes Dennis, who was haunted by it afterwards.

There are tons of films about it (the best being Jim Van Bebber's The Manson Family imo). This one really does look awful. And I'm pretty sure Lindsay Lohan was attached at one point.

If that was the sizzle, steak's gonna be pretty lean.
Oh, and Manson ? Looks more like John Cowsill.

Apparently Ron Jeremy is listed amongst the actor credits. Interesting. Ron is a giant amongst American thespians.

There are tons of films about it (the best being Jim Van Berber's The Manson Family IMO). This one really does look awful. And I'm pretty sure Lindsay Logan was attached at one point.
The Lindsay Logan project was for a different movie. Check out the Manson blogs, honestly every few months a new Manson movie is announced - none of them ever seem to get past the pre-production stage. For my money the best Manson movie ever was the original Helter Skelter movie, even if it was based on facts Vincent Bugliosi pulled out of his ass.

How I wish SOMEONE would make a decent movie about these guys. A respectable director and an excellent cast is what this band deserves... and sticking to the facts. We already know the soundtrack would be amazing

Cameron Crowe directing with Patrick Fugit as Brian Wilson. How awesome would that be?

A different directer was involved when she was supposed to star, but it's the same film. Helter Skelter is pretty great, especially considering it was made for tv. I think the worst one I've seen was The Manson Massacre. To be fair, I've only seen a German dubbed copy but I don't think the original dialog could have saved it. Only of interest due to its "lost" status.
