Music Choice's Adult Alternative cable channel just played the single version of "Isn't It Time".  The first time I've heard any of the new 2012 songs on any radio or TV music station.  Only the second time I've listened to this single mix:  at first listen, I didn't care for it at all, but I must say it sounded pretty good just now.

I've been spinning the record store day 10", and I have definitely come to appreciate the single version a lot more than my first listen.

Does the cable channel match it to a visual (not being familiar with this cable service)?

Yeah, a b&w circa '64 photo, plus a color 20/20 cover photo outtake, and trivia about the band (I caught Brian's birthday, Bruce's birthday, the date Carl died, and the date "Pet Sounds" was certified platinum).

They use those exact visuals (and most of those facts) on every Beach Boys track they play - The BBs get played a fair bit on the "Solid Gold Oldies" station.

I've heard it a few times on the radio in Ireland.

I still don't prefer the single mix over the original
