Speaking of Walk on By, I vaguely remember news of a longer version being found after the 2fers were done - I'd love to hear that!  Maybe for Made in California?

WHAT!?!?
If this is true then it NEEDS to be out there and heard by everyone!

Its crazy how a lot of Brian's solo albums had songs that were made of recycled ideas from the 1960s recordings.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

First I've heard of it. If so, why wasn't it included on the 2fer reissues ?

Maybe because it was found after they were done?

OP said "after the 2fers were done", which was 1990. Reissues were ten or so years later. Same version of "WOB".
