Assuming that someone from the Beach Boys camp reads this board I just wanted to post a thread regarding the Reunion Tour.

Thanks so much for an unforgettable time that I had seeing the show in Pittsburgh, PA. The entire tour turned out so well. Magical and Incredible! The Beach Boys ARE BACK IN THEIR PRIME!!! Stay together! The 'Rock n Roll album' would be great! Please get it done! A COMPLETE show from the reunion tour is needed. I'm looking forward to the Box set as well.

Thank you Beach Boys and everyone involved. Capital Records, too! Joe Thomas, Jeffrey Foskett and everyone!

Thank You and God Bless!

Word! Many thanks to all involved.

Along with the box set I'm also counting the days till the special edition blu ray live recording of the Red rocks show. 2 discs packed with behind the scenes footage and interviews with the band...  Razz

Yes, a fantastic tour, great new album and the Smile Sessions (which hopefully get a Grammy) made this a year to never forget. Finally the Beach Boys didn't "blow it" (re: Jack Rieley's famous quote). A DVD of the complete Royal Albert Hall show would be the icing on the cake. Thanks so much to everyone who made this happen and to the Beach Boys!

And something I wanted to say for a long time. There's one guy that imho is very important for the fact that the Boys reunited; Harry Jarnagan and his team. After all he came up with the idea for the landmark at whose ceremony Brian, Al and David met each other for the first time in years afaIk. I don't know if all the guys would have attended the Capitol rooftop presentation if it wasn't for the landmark ceremony. So thanks Harry Jarnagan!

BTW I don't know how the Rolling Stones could top this celebration.  Cheesy

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
