WTF?  I just lost five minutes of my life.  That's the worst thing I've ever read.

Dennis
Holy sh*t! Good Vibrations is number one! Not bad for a song you hated.

Mike
I didn't HATE it. I just don't like playing that "woo woo" machine (sings an imitation of the theremin sound).

Dennis
That instrument is called a theramin and its just part of what makes Good Vibrations so ground breaking.

Mike Whatever…

GENIUS.

It's really very, very good.

I mean, I've never seen such a comprehensive cut & paste job - the guy's truly stolen from everyone who ever wrote about the BB.

Amazing, huh? It makes 'Summer Dreams: The Story of the Beach Boys' look like Citizen Kane... and 'An American Family' look like The Godfather.

And, yeah: the Plagiarism plug-in was running hot when the author cranked this one out, too... to say nothing of the patented George Lucas Dialogue Clunk-O-Matic...!

Unbelievable...as AGD says, total cut and paste. Like every Beach Boy-related quote you've ever read has been eaten, swallowed and expelled !

Dennis
(ignoring Mike) Amazing! I want to hear more Brian!

(Plays "Cabinessence". When the song gets to the "over and over the crow cries" line, Mike goes ballistic)

Mike
Stop It! What is this crap! "Over and over the crow cries"? I'm supposed to sing this? Are you trying to single handedly destroy the Beach Boys?

Hmm… yet Brian doesn't retort by pointing out that that's Mike's voice singing  "Over and over the crow cries" they're listening to.  Where's the bit where the Beach Boys come out of their coma having forgotten that they put their voices to all this material?

Still, as we're not getting the box(ed) set, this will have to satisfy our longings.  Bring it on!
