This album is great! Lots of fun, energetic, and great song selection but I can't get past Carnie Wilson's horrible, loud breathing on 'Darlin'.
I have high hopes for California Saga but I am now a little worried. I won't ever touch anything Wilson Philips but does she always sound this way live?

The new Wilson Philips album sucked hard, really hard. If those women can avoid doing something like that again they will earn my praise.

There's a recent Cal Saga clip on YouTube with Carnie singing lead on Darlin' and she sounds fine. I'm not sure she's the best person to sing that song, though. It's at the top of her range and she doesn't have much power on it.

I listened to this CD for the first time in years after the Indio show. Carnie's vocal stood out to me as not as great as I remembered, primarily because of the gasping between the words. The vocal itself was not bad though. And when I saw BBFF live several times, I never noticed it.
