The latest pundit to weigh in on the 50th is the doddering George Will, who, if the above account is correct, hung out with the band backstage at Merriweather Post before showtime and learned from Brian that there was no particular R(h)onda he had in mind when he wrote the second BBs #1 hit. Which, I guess, explains why the spelling changed between the album cut and the 45. 

I frankly would have preferred to read 500 words of Will and Brian discussing the '50s Yanks, to name a subject both are experts in - or Will and Bruce musing about Mitt's defects as a candidate - but instead the columnist quotes James Q. Wilson and otherwise fills up space. Not really required reading but linked for completeness's sake.
