This is the first time I've ever got around to listening to Mike murdering this song despite a heartening endorsement from Jon Stebbings. Without a doubt, a real low point.

I will give Mike this: He sings the lyrics of "Imagine" as written and doesn't alter "and no religion too" or leave out the first verse, as some current interpreters are known to do.

Two points that may not be the lowest but are contenders:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbX3rKMHYy4

Lip-synching to the 45 Medley on Bandstand. Dennis looks drunk and Brian looks as if he wishes he were. I could have sworn I found a clip of the same number, from Merv Griffin, that was worse, but I don't see it on YT right now.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHUCdXiGFOQ

Here Comes The Night, in a TV performance. Dennis's expression says it all. There might have been a way for the guys to make a good disco but Bruce and Curt Becher/Boettcher didn't quite find it.

You know, there have been a lot of them, many of which I experienced as they occurred.  Thankfully (and near miraculously) they have redeemed themselves.

What would you do if you met Mike Love?

He wouldn't do a damn thing. Yes, I'm calling him out. I think he's a lot of mouth.
That's it! You're out of the will. Hmmm, calling me out? Sounds like your goat has been gotten. Razz

I would ask him to autograph my copy of BWPS, talk gushingly about the Beautiful Dreamer documentary and then ask him for my bicycle back.

Been there, done that several times-was not impressed-stand-off-ish would be the word.
Least you got the Surf's up signed poster. Cool

Someone already did...it's truly horrendous. It's very hard to watch.  Hard to argue against that as a low point.

Adrian Baker himself might qualify as a low point in the Beach Boys history.

In the clip of "Imagine," I'm surprised to see Dennis playing drums. I would have thought he'd take that song off and let <Mike Kowalski handle on it on his own.

Speaking of Dennis playing the drums at that gig, I just saw this clip from the same show, where the spotlight is on Dennis for sure:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohZX8bQ6VaM&feature=related

I'm not saying this qualifies as a "low point;" I'm simply sharing it because I, coincidentally, happened upon it. Then again, I'm not saying it's a particularly high point, either.

Well, no Sh#t!

Looking at it from Myke's shoes, it can't be comfortable meeting (several times) a guy who is absolutely seething with red-hot insane hatred for you. What was Myke supposed to do: see the barley restrained violence in your eyes and give you a hug?

BTW, why the hell would you bother meeting a guy whom you hate with all your might several times??

One thing that sets Adrian Baker apart from the others who have messed up the BBs over the years: he didn't have to join the band, or even meet them, before he started screwing things up, as the 1981 Medley proves.
