Mike & Brian on NPR June 2

Just heard an interview that lasted about nine minutes. It was apparently taped yesterday as there's a mention of a California concert "tonight". Mostly consisted of talk about "harmony", referencing both the sounds of the new album & what it has been like for the group to get back together. Although I just heard it on the radio, the whole interview is already up at NPR.org.

Funny, Brian calling Totten a slave driver, or words to that effect.

Brian calls Randy Newman's Sail Away the best album of all time...I don't think I've heard him say that one before...

He's spoken pretty highly of it prior. He said that at the time, it had a some kind of positive effect on his depression and such.

Brian's "S"'s were very pronounced during this interview. Sounded kinda like young Brian.

Did Brian and Scott ever met before this tour ?
