Argh.
"I Love To Say Da Da", "I Love To Say Dada", "Love To Say Dada", or "Love To Say Da Da"?
"Vegetables" or "Vega-Tables"?
"Cabinessence" or "Cabin Essence"?
Which of these are correct? Do some refer to specific versions? Are any modern creations based on years of fans incorrectly titling things?
Also, apologies - I feel like this thread has been made before, but the redundancies in the titles make it very difficult to search for.
Well, obviously I'm not an authority on this stuff, but I'd think of it like this.
"I Love To Say Da Da" is the version of that song from the
Good Vibrations box set, while "Love To Say Dada" is the official Beach Boys
Smile version.
"Vegetables" of course, is on
Smiley Smile, but there is also "Vegetables" on the
Good Vibrations box set, so that's kind of a bitch. But I guess once again, we'll say the official Beach Boys
Smile version is "Vega-Tables".
And "Cabin Essence"? Well I guess, if somebody writes "Cabinessence" I'll assume they are talking about the
20/20 stereo version, whereas if they are talking about "Cabin Essence", I'll assume they mean the mix on The Beach Boys
Smile.
I suppose I added nothing with that post. Sorry runners.
