"Isn't It Time" reminds me a little bit like the intro to The Doobie Brothers' "What A Fool Believes".

Itunes "popularity" scale for each track has 12/12 for Isn't It Time (most downloaded song on album),  2/12 for Spring Vacation.  I think that makes it pretty clear.

actually, you're wrong.

That's Why God Made the Radio and Isn't It Time are tied in first with 12/12.

every other song on the album is tied in 2nd with 9/12.

Well I'm not gonna tell you you're wrong, our itunes are saying different things.  I tried refreshing a couple times, still got this

11/12 for TWGMTR, 12/12 for Isn't It Time.

Interesting!  I guess "Isn't It Time" should be the new single after all!  It is growing on me more and more about 100 listens in...

Since it's not 1975, I'd say Spring Vacation would not be a good single. Daybreak Over the Ocean is the way to go for promotional purposes.
The album is all the way down to #60 on iTunes already- an alarming drop, I think.

The album has been moving up and down the iTunes chart. Last time I checked about an hour ago and it went back up to 25

Surprisingly, it's still at # 3 on Amazon.   I would have thought SV would be a good single too but it's next-to-last on Amazon MP3 downloads (TPLOB&S last).  TWGMTR and Isn't It Time are 1 & 2.

Well, these are the two tracks that they play at the shows. So, I'm not surprised that they are the two most popular downloads.

Good point.  The last 3 songs of the album are the next most popular MP3s on Amazon, so I'd guess that's from album reviews.

I'd still go for "Isn't it time" although I also still think that the middle part is stealing the song much of it's quality.
BTW "Summer's gone" reminds me a lot of that song from a few years ago that actually was a hit. Can't remember the name or the artist. It went something like "there are 9 million bycicles in...". Anyone remember it ? Great tune

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Ugghhh...terrible choice for second single. I think SV is tied with "Beaches In Mind" for worst song on the album...and it's not really even close.  The lyrics suck and the music is just so incredibly bland...the guitar is so 90s AC...boring.

"Isn't it Time" is really the only song I can see as a single from this album.
