Hello

I'm new to the board but have been visiting for a long time.

I have some recent concert photos that I want to post but I keep getting a message that 'the upload folder is full - please try a smaller file and/or contact a administrator'.

I've made the photo/MPEG/file smaller but it doesn't want to upload. The photo is 67.5 kg (400 x 300). I believe the size is OK?

When I try to post I click "Additional Options" to add the MPEG. Then I try to post. Is this correct?

Please help! Thanks!

Try changing the file format?  Most sites accept .jpg files, but won't always display other image file types.  You should also be using an external photo-hosting site such as tinypic.com (there's also Photobucket.com, but that one tends to not display after a certain number of views on a message board).

Hello SloopJohnnyB, welcome on this board.

In addition to what mcg1119 said. We've had questions like yours before. The amount of MB-space for attaching pictures with posts is limited. I cleaned up a bit by removing some old attachments (2009 and older), so you might be able to add some to your posts. However, as mcg1119 advised already, I also advise you to use upload websites like tinypic.com or photobucket.com. You can add larger pics (> 120 kb) and also more for that matter.

Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings.

Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45.

Listening to you I get the music; Gazing at you I get the heat; Following you I climb the mountain; I get excitement at your feet
Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story

Thank you all for helping. I'm able to upload them now. Thanks!  Head Spin I'll just upload some of the better shots. The Add Some Music concert group photo (Pittsburgh) turned out really well.

If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to see as many as you're willing to share.. I think we sat next to each other during the first half and tail end  Cool

Hey, how are you doing? I spoke the magic words: Do you go on Smiley Smile.net? Good to meet you here. Yes, I will share more photos. How can I get your email?

I'll sign up with a photo sharing site and post a link also. I'm a bit busy right now but soon. I also want to post regarding the whole sound check experience. Great time. I ended up at the (outside) stage door (on Liberty Avenue) after the show and stood by the door of the BB's shuttle bus. Brain was sitting in the front seat next to the door. Basically about 10 feet from me. He obviously wasn't signing. I didn't really say anything but I put on a big smile. Jeff sat a few seats back on the other side. David came out of the bus to sign....I'll post more under the Pittsburgh thread and the VIP thread...later. Grin
