So I'm not gonna listen any samples or radio previews of the new album (beside TWGMTR).
My thinking is that the opportunity to wait and long for a new BB album doesn't come often.  In fact it will likely never happen again.
And for me this is the first time, since I'm a fan since the mid 90's (SIP was already out).

So I'm just gonna sit and wait for the exciting day when I can go to a old-fashioned record store and ask for the new BB album.
Then go home and listen to the whole thing in perfect audio quality, having no idea what the next song is gonna be like.

Until then I'm gonna breathe in all the anticipation and excitement, like a little kid waiting for Santa to go to Kokomo.
This feeling might never come back anymore.

And so this thread is for all the fools like me who are not gonna listen the previews.
In here we can still talk about the album and be spoiler free.

I have read a lot of thoughts and reviews too.  But that's ok, because without listening to the songs, I will soon forget them.

I'm not going out of my way to hear them but I suppose I will on the QVC program tonight.

Yeah, I'll fit right in on this thread.  I'm not going to listen until I can hear it through my big old speakers while sitting on my couch with a beverage and a smoke.  I don't mind reading people's opinions on the other threads, though.  Just getting sick of people fighting about every little thing.  Everybody has an opinion, and message boards are all about stating one's opinion, but one can state an opinion without being a dick.

So, you guys gonna watch the QVC thing today?  I think I'll watch, but I don't want to hear any clips, so I'll have my finger on the mute button.  My 15 year old daughter will laugh at me, but I don't care.  She laughs at me all the time.

Loving all the mini-reviews everyone is sharing but that's as far as I'll go!  When I sit down and put that CD on...I want every note (minus TWGMTR, of course) to be new...never heard before.  I don't want any references to something I've already heard or maybe even ruining the entire context by listening to the samples first and then waiting for the full clips later.  It's all or nothing!

But by God...if they somehow stream the entire album online before release day...I'm just going to have to ask my power company to shut off my electricity.  NPR has been doing that lately...I remember they streamed Paul Simon's last album online for free a few days before release day.  And didn't they also do that with Brian's TLOS?  So, that last week homestretch will be a doozy.

There must be some pills that can help us on that last week, Justin...

My problem right now is finding the strength not to watch the QTV appearance, in case  they play new songs.
"Luckily" I cannot watch it live here in Europe so I guess I will know if and what to skip.   But still..

EDIT: oh no, the web streaming works for Europe too!
