Does anyone know if the entire footage will be released?  It would be interesting to attempt to match up the audio on the session tapes to the film.  For instance, I believe that the footage at the 2:24 mark (see link below) may go with the first 50 seconds of TSS disc 5, track 16.  Seems to go with Brian saying "Lyle and Carl, please.  Can we shake it up in there?" Looks like they're both playing eighth notes also (it helps if you mute the sound).  There's another clip of Carl playing at the 2:40 mark which I think is the same part:

I'm almost certain that the footage is staged. Otherwise you would hear the terrible whirring of the cameras on the track.

The sound and the footage are different for sure.

Staged is the wrong word.  The footage is most likely from periods where tape was not rolling, yes, but It's not like Carl was pretending to play bass and the mics weren't plugged in.  This is a real session.

Plus, while I assume you would hear the camera going, it's possible that it wouldn't be all that loud or even near inaudible if off-mic.
