The first show is a big hit and TWGMTR is released. Everything is good. What could possibly go wrong?

I don't whether Melinda is hero or villain, but it's a nice time for the "Beach Boys insider" to come out and stir things up.

My God the Drama begins if this is all true.

Good feeling? Have you been on this board for the last couple of days? We're all losing our collective minds!
That being said, the bigger name of the band means there's more opportunity for gossip that's old news to fans like us to spread to a wider audience.
I just wonder who the anonymous source is ...

It's not news it's just maddening on how someone has to come out with this NOW as everything is going great.

I would argue that if Mike actually did walk out of the rehearsals for three days over a confrontation with MLW, that would be news-ish. I suspect that's not quite what happened (he doesn't have an instrument, so he may well not have been needed all those days), but still ...

Of course a PUBLIC RELATIONS agent is going to deny everything...but yeah, this is SOOOOOOOOOOO not news. (Personally, I do applaud her for finding a way to make Mike go away!)

Totally untrue, Mike wouldn't disappear for 3 days, he would just go do TM

I believe the article. Though it's possible that Mike stormed off for three days when he already had three days off on his schedule, and perhaps the source of the article wasn't aware of that fact. I can't see them all rehearsing seven days a week even in the week before the first show. I don't think Melinda is doing anything unusual other than outsiders are now being made aware of it. I do hope she gets them to stop using autotune, whether she signed off on it first or someone else encouraged either her or the band to think it's a good idea.

There was no reason for the item to appear other than someone inside the Beach Boys camp wants Melinda to look bad or at least to know the amount of control she has over Brian's life. Whether everything in the article is accurate or not, somebody on the inside wants the public to know about it.

Exactly. Take the name "Brian Wilson" out of it, and you have any other couple who have been married 20 years and are their ages. The wife calls all the shots? 'Duh'
