So, "Doin' it again", right? As reported elsewhere - yes. Can't remember - were full performances of the Dennis/Carl tributes a part of Doin' It Again? If not, this may compensate for the tributes missing on the actual concert DVD.

Which certainly could have fit on the same disc as the concert feature. Sigh. I'll buy it but I'm still a little pissed off. This could have been so much better.

I didn't buy Doin' It Again. Now this new DVD is looking very attractive. Works for me.
EDIT: I just realized this is a 2 disc version sold in Europe. Might have to think about this one some more...

Yeah, still not sure why they couldn't put out the entire concert. And I already own Doin' It Again; guess that was a waste of my money!

If not, this may compensate for the tributes missing on the actual concert DVD. I believe the Doin It Again documentary did NOT feature complete performances of either God Only Knows or Forever. I remember being bumed out when I first saw the documentary. They advertise the tributes and then only give you snipets of them.

It seems unclear as to whether the US release of "Live in Concert" will include the second disc. Amazon shows the blu-ray as having only one disc, although their item details can often be incorrect. It's of little concern to those of us who bought it already I suppose.

The 50th anniversary releases are proving to have their exasperating sides. Some great stuff coming out but presented in a way that rushes the fans for every penny.

Here (the UK) the DVD version has 2 discs and the Blu-Ray has 1; the blu-ray can easily fit both Live in Concert and Doin' It Again (so could a DVD but whatever)

Why not ditch "Hawaii" and have "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" on it..? Because Hawaii was written by members of BRI and WDFFIL was not.

Why not ditch "Rock and Roll Music" and have "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" on it..? Dude, I don't know - these are obviously compiler's decisions. Anyway, an easy (but possibly not correct) answer to to that question is that RnR Music was a top ten hit for the Beach Boys. Why Do Fools...was not.

Why not ditch "Rock and Roll Music" and have "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" on it..? ...and also, Rock N Roll Music has a lead by a member of The Beach Boys. Why Do Fools is sung by Jeffy and they probably want to cut down on as many non-BB leads as they can.

That's what I meant. Best live version of the song I've ever seen/heard. Kicked some f*ckin' ass. @EgoHanger1966: Yeah, I know...
