Looks the same as the other Beach Boys edition, only this one costs 20 dollars more than I paid last year.

Inflation. I guess even Beach Boys shirts aren't immune to a faltering economy. Add it to the dry cat food I buy going up 40 cents per box in one week, and the gasoline I put in my car going through the roof creeping up every day. Not to mention Burger King taking their side salad off the "dollar value" menu and now charging 1.50 for the same iceberg lettuce and bag of dressing which has been worth one dollar for well over 6 years.

Yeah, that shirt (also available from Pendleton and a few other sources) has been talked about on a recent 'shirts" thread. There are also two commemorative Pendleton T-shirts, among other nice T-shirts from other sources. Check out that thread......

That same Beach Boys Pendleton shirt was $75.00 about 3 years ago. This year they put that "50th Anniversary" promo blurb in there and jacked the price up about 10 bucks. Don't get the board shirt, get the original one, it fits much better, unless you're skinny.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

I had this shirt a few years ago, then I left it at a friend's house and never saw it again. I've always been meaning to buy a new one and now it's frickin even MORE EXPENSIVE? agh Sad

Unless you're loaded I'd save your money, I think the quality of the brand might be on its way out. I've had this shirt for a little more than a year and two buttons came off. AND both times the thread stayed attached and ripped nice holes in the fabric. Forcing me to sew buttons on again in a slightly off-centered spot. I've basically babied this shirt, doing additional loads of laundry so I can wash it according to the tag's instructions and I've never taken it off like I'm Superman or whatever.

It might actually be the single most expensive piece of clothing I own too.

Pendleton shirts will last forever. I've had a bunch of 'em for years and they're still in very good condition. The trick is to always dry-clean them, not wash them, especially in washers with an agitator.  And NEVER dry those suckers - they'll shrink like a mofo!

I thought it was something I did, but BOTH ELBOWS HAVE HOLES IN THEM!!! I got it around the beginning of 2011. I'm hoping the "warranted to be a Pendleton" tag actually means something....

Mine definitely hasn't done that.... Shocked

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Maybe it's my super-pointy elbows or something.... I wear it a lot, but it's usually under a sweatshirt, so I know it's not from rubbing it on stuff.
