Without any image it's hard to tell, but it could be the Sub Pop thing for the Pet Sounds box? That was a 45 with IJWMFTT and a couple of acapella tracks, iirc.

Strange choice for a warm up, is all...

Duh, reading comprehension 101.

That's an interesting reissue, to say the least. If I have some spare disposable kicking around I might pick it up.... I have a soft spot for that album, weird Brian vocals and all.

Doesn't VDP keep saying he's trying to reissue OCA on vinyl, or am I imagining that?

Can't wait to hear what the audiophiles make of the "SIDOI" demo.  That'll f*** with some ears. Grin

At least it's better than on the Brian Loves You LP. It looks like they are remastering it for the format so it should be cool. Brian didn't do much on it and his vocals aren't all that good but I always liked the sound of it. The 1988 songs sound a lot better.

I'll be buying it. There's a hole in my BW albums between Brian Wilson and Getting In Over My Head. Hope Orange Crate Art get the vinyl treatment, too.

Yeah all the Brian albums should be on record. Stars and Stripes too for completeness sake.

SIP was on vinyl but only in Korea. Usually the pressings are bad from there but this was really clean. Only helped it a tad though sound wise. Someone once told me they had an Australian pressing of SIP on vinyl but I never saw one. Some of the 1990 Epic releases were on vinyl too . Sunflower, Surf's Up, Holland. and POB for certain but I forget the rest that I once saw but stupidly passed up. Then and now were almost impossible to get but I didn't know they would be so rare at the time. A lot of other LP's done at the time pop up much more often.

Ah, the EPIC vinyl discussion again  Grin : what was and wasn't released on vinyl?

I've heard about POB and MIU to exist on 1990 Epic vinyl, but I've never seen one. How I wish someone could send some pics to proove it.
I do have vinyl copies of Sunflower, Surf's up and Holland on Epic; the last one both as a Dutch and Spanish pressing !

Thanks for the heads up on the IJWMFTT LP. I'll buy that one for sure.

Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings.

Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45.

Listening to you I get the music; Gazing at you I get the heat; Following you I climb the mountain; I get excitement at your feet
Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story

No problem. Glad you landed a few I've lost bids on them a couple of times. My biggest record buying regret is to not have gotten these in 1990-91 when I saw them. POB I had in my hands but I cannot remember if I saw So Tough, KTSA, MIU, Love You or 15 Big Ones. If I ever do find them I will post the info on here.
