Daybreak is a pretty decent song, Too Cruel would have been my choice from the 1978 solo Mike Love LP.

It's really cool to see a tracklist of mostly unfamiliar titles...other than Daybreak, I hadn't heard about any of these before this year.  Excited to hear the final product!

Wouldn't Daybreak Over The Ocean suggest they were on the east coast? I find this profoundly disturbing.

pretty sure we've had this track sequence for at least a week, maybe two.  in fact there's pocket reviews in the "new album info" thread

It's up there at www.allmusic.com already, cover, track list, song length, and a brief summary by John Bush (no review, of course, it's way too early). But it's quite rare, I believe, that allmusic has it this early way.

Thanks; been busy this past week, wasn't paying attention to that thread.  Took a look at some of the reviews, very intriguing.  Hoping to get this when it's featured on QVC in a week!

I'm out of the loop with this - Are Radio & Daybreak Over The Ocean the only familiar songs from this? Is the latter definitely the same song from the Mike Love solo album (which I haven't heard)?

Do we know the songwriting credits for any of the songs yet?

Only for TWGMTR as far as I know: Joe Thomas, Brian Wilson, Jim Peterik, Larry Millas.

Rate Your Music is still calling the album '50' even though they have the cover posted with the correct title. Wake up, RYM!

I keep saying the same thing. I uploaded the cover originally, ya know, expecting them to change the title and such but they've still not gotten around to fixing it. Idle folk they are.

Edit: they've changed it now.

I just looked on Amazon.com, and they have the new cd for only $9.99. I'm surprised it's that cheap.  Cool

Are you stating that TWGMTR is a familiar tune as in there's parts of the song that some of us might recognize are taken from other songs of earlier BB or BB-Solo tunes? Or things we've heard on b00ts?

Thanks, I hadn't realised there was a thread running over there. I'm glad to see AGD so excited over some of the tracks. Getting quite excited myself now ...

This "final note" thing has me really curios. But I stopped reading before I found out what it was. I want to know, but I want to wait at the same time. I imagine that when AGD reads this, he will probably grin from ear to ear.  Razz  LOL

No I meant familiar as in we know that one, as opposed to the other unfamiliar tracktitles. Bad phrasing on my part.

It's cool, happens to me all the time....I just like to get things straight so I understand what's goin on....other "folks" are just nitpickers and it gives me less motivation to post as much.
