Does anyone know if there are audio clips or videos available (YouTube or otherwise) of Carl's last ever live shows?

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Thanks Rocker, It would've been great to have attended any of those shows. Getting to see Carl performing his signature God Only Knows for the last time would have been bittersweet.

There is an audio recording in existance from a California show in early August of 1997.  Mike gives a little introduction to Carl right before they perform "God Only Knows".  Carl then thanks his doctor's onstage and then dedicates "God Only Knows" to them.  It is rather emotional.  There's also a point in the show when Carl says that he had just being telling Mike(Mike Meros?) that it had been a great summer.   I think this was only like a week or two before Carl had to leave the tour.  Pictures also do exist from Carl's final performance (in Atlantic City?), but they have never been made public.

As I have posted elsewhere on this board, I was at that California show.  August 3, 1997 at the Glen helen Pavilion in Devore, just outside LA. Carl sounded exceptional on GOK, SOS and his other leads. Spoke with him very briefly backstage, he was very bloated from the chemo, but all reports were that he was going to make it.  I had no idea it would be that last time I would see or hear him live.

I believe Carl's last show was at the old Garden State Arts Center in Holmdel NJ; I was at that show. I also believe there is talk that he played A/C with the band the next night or so, bbut I don;t think that has ever been formally documented. He sand great that night, though he sat for almost all of the show except for GOK and SOS.

No, it was at Atlantic City Resorts  Casino Hotel. I know because I went to the show the following evening. Mike even made mention of it during the show and introduced Phil Bardowell as a last minute replacement for Carl.

And Lead Us Not Into Kokomo,
But Deliver Us From Mike Love.
