Inspired by some discussion on another thread, I have created a fantasy concert set list taken strictly from BW solo album cuts.  It's 21 songs total, basically in chronological order (only exception being Love and Mercy at the end, as is tradition).

What would your set list look like?

One for the Boys
Melt Away
Rio Grande
Your Imagination
Where Has Love Been?
Lay Down Burden
This Isn't Love
Soul Searchin'
Gettin' In Over My Head
Desert Drive
Don't Let Her Know She's an Angel
Can't Wait Too Long
Midnight's Another Day
That Lucky Old Sun (Reprise)
Goin' Home
Southern California
This Beautiful Day
Whatever Happened
The Right Time
One Kind of Love
Love and Mercy

I'd have to include a few songs from Orange Crate Art. Back at the time it was released, Van Dyke talked about touring with Brian. Don't know why it didn't happen.

The problem with compiling this set list is that it's hard to remove some songs from their original song cycle placements (specifically TLOS and OCA), but I have tried, and come up with this:
Love and Mercy (that's right, start with the standard closer)
Walkin' the Line (hey, is he going to do the whole 1988 album?)
Melt Away (he IS going to do the whole album!)
Let Him Run Wild (Imagination arrangement)
Morning Beat
She Says That She Needs Me
My Hobo Heart
Forever She'll Be My Surfer Girl
Mexican Girl
Gettin' In Over My Head
Palm Tree and Moon
Summer in Monterey
San Francisco
The Warmth of the Sun (IJWMFTT arrangement)
Caroline, No (IJWMFTT arrangement)
Midnight's Another Day
Where Has Love Been?
Being With the One You Love
This Song Wants to Sleep With You Tonight
Movies is Magic
Let's Go to Heaven in My Car
---encore---
Rio Grande (jaws drop)
Someone to Watch Over Me
Southern California

Great list. We all have our favorites. I would want "Sail Away" on there.

Yeah, gotta have some Orange Crate Art songs in the set. Still my favorite non-BB's album Brian has done.
