Hahhahahaha, sounds like "Alvin and the Chipmunks sing The Beach Boys...while a bunch of transformers have sex in the background!" Hey, maybe they'll open with this lol.

Had promise there in the beginning, then fell apart.
On a side note: guess who just got done with a two-week recording gig with Skrillex (arguably dubstep's most popular artist today).....? Van Dyke Parks. And I can't wait to hear the results!

God must’ve smiled the day Brian Wilson was born!

So was surf music.
I'm not a real fan of dubstep (I think it sounds great, but it's nothing I would listen to on a regular basis), but I'm fascinated with the evolution of electronic music - can't wait to see where it goes!

House, Trance, Jungle, Drum and Bass, Acid Jazz, Trip-Hop...I can rarely ever tell the difference. I like some well-made EDM (that's Electronic Dance Music for anyone over 30) every once in a while, but a lot of it reeks of bad disco (well, maybe the 90s stuff-eg. La Bouche, Rednex, Ace of Base, Real McCoy, M People, etc.-more than the current EDM).

I wouldn't know any kind of dubstep if I fell over it. I have thought that Male Ego could be transformed into a mad rap though...

There's like 3 or 4 people I used to be friends with who got really into dubstep, then cocaine and "thizz" and now I don't talk to them anymore....
Be careful with the stuff.

"Beach Boys" and "dubstep" should never be in the same sentence.

Started off cool, but wish the whole song could have been represented. Could (and should) have been better.

I think "You're Welcome" would make a cool basis for dubstep, and the "DO IT!!" from "Little Pad" would be a great drop sound!

I don't particularly dislike dubstep (nor drum 'n' bass etc.). It's just that tastewise, I have problems with 'fusion' genres in general. To me, they all sound a bit forced.
I prefer original dub. The no-compromise, Jah All Mighty sound of King Tubby and his brethren. For the uninitiated, I have good advice: try to get hold of either:
King Tubby Meets The Rockers Uptown
(Shanachie Records)
Original Rockers
- by Augustus Pablo (Greensleeves)
Your life won't be the same after hearing these. Promised.
