What is the story on this tune? I know Carl sings it but has it ever appeared anywhere? Did it form the basis of any released tune?

Wasn't this from the sessions from The Beach Boys?

Where did you hear Brian hated it? And why?

There's a brief mention of it in the Wilson Project book about Brian's feelings about the song, and IIRC there was a contemporary interview with Landy discussing songs Brian had been working on, and Brian was said to not like it.

If anyone can elaborate, please do so.

The song starts in a style which makes you think immediately of "I Just Called to Say I Love You" then goes into a Carl Wilson LP-esque feel. I honestly do not know wha Brian would dislike it. Compared to anything done in the 1980's by the band, it is very good. IIRC Tom Kelly co-wrote it. I was hoping someone would know if it ever formed the basis of another track.
