Is anyone else amazed at Van Dyke's abilities to replicate Brian's style? Seriously, it kinda sounds like a missing song from Song Cycle mixed with Brian's producing style.

LOL I remember watching this for the first time...this was really really hilarious...I thought it was a nice nod to Brian in the movie, and he really acted like him.

""Dewey....? are you sayin you dont need us anymore?"..."not unless you can open your mind...and learn to play the f***** theremin!"

Mike anyone?

At that part in the movie, when I first saw it, I lmao so hard I can't even tell you, being a huge SMiLE buff.  I wondered how many people even got the joke.

I was also thinking "Wow, this song is a joke, but...  it's really good!!!"

I really wasn't expecting them to do a Brian parody in the film and as soon as they showed him bouncing on the trampoline I cracked up. Love that film.

How come nobody ever asked Bob Dylan Hey why do you sound so much like Dewey Cox?"
