After all these years, is the best-fidelity circulating version of SI (any version) still considered to the Vigotone release of the 2nd version? This one: http://www.vigotone.com/vigotone/vigotone112.htm

IMHO..Thats the best sounding one..I own 3 versions of that LP..mainly for the added bonus tracks + that one i enjoy the most..
