Ahh well..

She is a soloartist, write songs and performes. What sticks out with her is that she plays mainly harp (she always plays a big harp live), and has a special voice that you either love or hate to listen to - thin and childlike. But the most important factor is that she has an amazing sensibility for good, avantgarde and quirky popmelodies, which sometimes is dimished because of her voice that may turn people off.
Personally I regard her in the same league as Brian and Syd Barrett.

Since the first album used only harp as instrumentation, it will be interesting to see how these "suites" will evolve with the help of van dyke parks. I can't think of any aranger that will be more perfect for the job. It's a dream situation.... yummy...
