Following on from my run of various Vega-tables versions (Single and Vocals Only Demo), here we have a live version from what I guess it the late 80's - early 90's

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcTvsLCCKxw

Anyone know what year exactly this is from? It sounds really good to me!

1993.

They promoted the Good Vibrations box at the time. I know of two life performances that circulate. So it's either the Valley Forge concert from Nov. 21st or the Paramount gig on Nov. 26th (rehearsal or concert itself)

That's wild!  I had no idea they were doing this song live at that point.  It's a bit more of a hybrid between the GV Box version and the Smiley version.  Thanks for sharing.

Very cool, wow!  I knew they'd done this in '93 but never actually heard it.  Best live version I've ever heard by far.

Sad... It shows that SMiLE still could have been an awesome stage performance as well as an incredible album...
