Just got a video from Amazon USA.. Albert Lee video.. Live from Rome.. For U that doesnt know who he is..He is an Englishmen.. A country rock ..rock a billy guitar master..He used to play with..Rodney Crowell.. Emmy Lou Harris..Eric Clapton..Ricky Scaggs..+Head Hands + Feet....  Everlly Bros.. ETC..And TONS of blues rock + country sessioins..And a session master with the number session..,OK..? !!.. He has influenced tons of country rock guitar players and can play RINGS around most people..OK..!! He has influenced Guys like Brent  Mason from nashville.. Brent is a 1st call guitar player in Nashville..Alan Jackson loves Brent"s playing..Albert Lee does tricks with am old ECHOPLEX....From 70"s that to this day people are STILL tryin to figure out... Albert Lee rarely does concerts on his own.. This concert showcases Albert playin Guitar + Mandolin + piano..So he can do ANYTHING HE WANTS..So what does he do ..??.....................ONLY WITH YOU..!! he P-LAYS A really NICE VERSION OF THE SONG..!! hELLO.. iTS NOT THE GREATEST VERSION YOU HAVE EVER HEARD..but..!!..This guy can do anything he wants ..And he chooses to do a BB song
He choose that song cause he likes it.. If your lookin for a guitar player that plays RINGS around everybody..With taste that DOESNT play heavy metal check him out.. Love the guy + Clarence White..byrds....i WAS BEST MAN + MY BEST FRIENDS WEDDING 1985.He was a casual BB fan..I compiled the music for the church When they walked down the isle they walked down to.. ONLY WITH YOU..They didnt know it was a BB song till the wedding was overI slipt that in..To this day they STILL love that song..Totally surprised that Albert Lee would play that song..On another note i used to jam + sit in  Palamino,, North Hollywood Ca + was a 2nd 3rd call to replace whoever didnt show up.. I had the pleasure of playin with Albert Lee in the 80"s..Total gentleman..He was such a nice guy he took me an Eric Clapton REcording seeion..85-86..In fact he actually  played for 50.00 -100,00 for the WHOLE nite..Just like i did..And his wife was in the audience..!!.. Totally great guy + stone cold guitar GOD..Check him out
