Here's an idea... some of the SMiLE tracks didn't originally have vocals/lyrics right?

Well why not bring together any vocal-less vintage tracks but, using the new VDP BWPS lyrics, finish them with new vocals by current artists like, say, Lady GaGa, Bruno Mars, Nicole Schwarzenegger, Susan Boyle, Justin, etc.

This would bring SMiLE to a new audience, get the youngsters involved, freshen things up. SMiLE 2 - The Duets

Only if Ke$ha is on it, as she actually likes Brian Wilson.

Heck, i want fleet foxes to do the vocals of SMiLE duets.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Since there's all that extra space in "Child is the father of the man", you could drop in a verse by Snoop Dogg.

Seriously?  I've never heard that, although I've read that about Katy Perry, so who knows?

I'd rather have fresh lead vocals from Mike and Alan.

I'm with you there. Also, as I've said before, if you wanna know what Fleet Foxes are gonna do next, listen to some post-PS BBs for the best clues.

What I wouldn't mind hearing is Brian, Al and Mike going in and laying down vocals on the sections that were lead vox incomplete. Given Brian's 2011 voice I would rather Al handle leads. I could work, and would be legit rather than some other artiste.

Looks like they aren't as popular as i thought LOL, well they are a start for groups to make music in BW's style again. Smiley

I'd love a album with famous producers (McCartney, Jeff Lynne, George Martin, Brendan O'Brian, etc.) working with the Heroes and Villians tapes to come up with their own unique remix version.

Hey, since listening to all  the Sessions, I have now have an absolutely sensational version (think Mike and Brain duet vocals) perculating in my Smile obsessed being.
