You could argue that, but surely Catbirdman didn't have it in mind when he wrote the list I'll take it as "Previously unheard instrumental section from Surf’s Up meant for the original Smile recording, i.e part 2 or tag", unless someone objects...

Change that to a "no." Despite the background vocals, by definition, there's no yodeling; simply singing the syllables "yo-de-lay-dee-hoo" doesn't constitute yodeling.
