I don't see that Amazon is promising delivery of the big box set on November 1st anymore...was that only guaranteed if you pre-ordered by a certain date, or am I missing it?

I don't know how all this works....but they may have reached their shipping limit for the November 1st date (as to how many packages they can send out without compromising orders that are made around November 1st)...if that makes sense.

I reserved mine two days ago and it gave me the option.  When I go back now, it still says, "Want to receive this the day it comes out?"

What you have to do is select two-day shipping when you check out (and it should tell you that two-day shipping will get it to you on 11/1).
