Damn, I live in Coventry which isn't too far away but I'm in Australia until next year! So many things happening in England this year when I'm on the other side of the world, Brians tour, the one Beach Boys show that happened recently, Weezer touring, ah well will hopefully catch you in the future.

If at all possible, go see these guys - they're excellent, and do some very unusual segues and deep deep catalog tracks.

It's the West Midlands, btw.  Grin

If I'm not mistaken, one of the guys in the band taught music at my college. More specifically he taught a friend of mine said subject at said college. Unless I'm mistaken.

Turns out my friend's tutor goes by the name of Ric Neale, whom I remember performing with some other band last year.

On topic, I doubt I'll be able to make it, which is a shame cos I've heard great things about the band. If they ever perform around Yorkshire I'll be there with bells on!

Yep , Ric is still in Surfs Up ( and also doing his own great stuff in other projects ) , strange that we have 2 music lecturers in the Band !

Will advertise when we play in Yorkshire , so don't forget to polish your bells  LOL

Forgot to mention that one of Rics old pupils is now our Bass Player , John Fowles (who is a tad younger than us at 23) , great player AND he plays a 6 string Bass which i swear the fret board is about 3 feet deep  LOL

Just maybe your mate might know of John

I'm not sure they do but it's worth an ask. Great to see there are BB's enthusiasts and musicians around my age who are up for playing in a BB's tribute; I've been searching for ages to no avail. Someday Smokin
