Karate Kid Soundtrack.
The Flirts and Jan & Dean.
Written by Mike Love.
Produced by Mike Love, Adrian Baker and Brooks Arthur.
Adrian Baker is clearly audible, but does Mike sings the lead? I think he sings in the movie and not on the soundtrack album.
So who sings on the soundtrack? Maybe Gary Griffin?
Thanks.

He sings in the clip in the movie, but not on the soundtrack version.

I LOVE that song! Had no idea Mike wrote it.
The Karate Kid (the original) is one of the best movies out there.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
