The Harder they Come soundtrack from 1972-great reggae soundtrack. I also like the Clockwork Orange soundtrack from 1971. Also the Rushmore soundtrack.

Agreed on the Kubrik film. Curiously, the chilling main theme from A Clockwork Orange is very difficult to find on YouTube, with various alternatives offered in its place:
