So obviously Brian isn't sitting at a computer or iPad typing out Twitter messages. So what's going on there? Is the person typing the messages taking dictation from Brian? Are they distilling things Brian says (like "Montreal is a beautiful city" and "I love oatmeal") into tweets? Or are they just making stuff up from what they think Brian would say?

If Brian isn't involved at all, I wish they would just use the account to give updates.

the news updates are ok...it's the weird twitter updates that are interesting.  i'm sure it's just quotes a publicist hear's or something.  how boring would it be if it was just news updates??

On tour, it's Jeff tweeting what Brian says to him (that was stated on the Bloo when the account started). Other times, it's his publicist, I'm guessing... but they are what Brian's said. Not made up.

That's good to hear. I was looking at his Twitter and just thinking about how it would be sad if someone was pretending that Brian had said something and then fans were tweeting back. That's why I said I would prefer the updates to deception.

When I read Brian's answer to a question he was asked a few months back on what his favorite memory of Carl was - he said it was watching Carl's face the first time he played him the track to "Wouldn't It Be Nice" - I knew it wasn't just someone putting words in his mouth.  I don't see Brian ever becoming the type to post frequently on there about his day-to-day life (although it would probably be entertaining as hell if he did), but I've never doubted that he has at least some involvement.

I hate Twitter, and Facebook. I hope it is someone pretending to be Brian. That's better than the idea of him going on there.

Ha ha. Would his tweets be like the lyrics to Busy Doing Nothing?

I second that. Who on earth thinks their lives are so interesting that they have to post a running commentary on it?
