Does anyone know when With Me Tonight was first recorded? I know its on Smiley Smile of course but isn't it a leftover from SMiLE? I always thought it was rumored to fit with Vega-Tables but if not there then where could it fit on SMiLE?

It was at one time part of H&V, but then again so was most of the album!

The section you mean, that sounds like Vege-Tables fits so neatly onto the beginning of VT
