THE WHO Tommy Overture

Ah yes! The Who recorded some extraordinary instrumentals over the years.

Right now I'm investigating the music of Robyn Hitchcock, starting with Underwater Moonlight, the 1980 album by his then band, The Soft Boys. It includes this stunning instrumental, "You'll Have To Go Sideways":

Duncan Lamont's "The Fuzz" began life in the OST of a pornographic comedy, the wonderfully titled The Opening of Misty Beethoven:

I discovered Treason Theory's "Eggs In The Pan" while looking for candidates for a musical topic about eggs at the previous incarnation of my hobby forum, strange place that it was. There's only very scant online information about Treason Theory. I adapted this from Facebook:

"Treason Theory Music Productions is an independent musical recording and production organization. The main members are Maurice Cunningham and Rob Harris. Other musicians can and have joined in to contribute to T.T.M.P.'s recordings and more are certainly welcome. All songs are written, played and recorded by Treason Theory, unless otherwise noted. We are neither treasonous, nor have any real theories about treason. It's just a name."
